Backup and Recovery
How it Works
You can easily back up your VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Lotus Domino/Notes, Oracle database, MySQL database, Windows servers, Linux servers, desktops and laptops to Nuvola's highly dependable datacenter for backup storage.
A wizard will help you install the application. You will then need to configure the application: specify the files and folders to backup and configure a schedule for your backup. The real time backup option is also available. When real time backup is enabled, all your new files and file modifications will be backed-up immediately.
The Nuvola application will encrypt and compress your data before sending them on our secured line. The Data will be encrypted with AES 256-bits which is strong HIPPA compliant encryption. It is also possible to backup locally and keep copies in the cloud. This is the most versatile and feature rich software available supporting Linux, Macintosh and Windows.
Your encrypted data will travel on our secured link (Secured Socket Layer), pass through our firewall and be stored in your reserved space on our servers in the cloud.
The data stored on our primary servers are replicated (copied) to our servers in the cloud in different locations. Even if a major disaster happens in our primary data center, your data will still be safe
